Acne Management Course - 11th and 12th of September 2010

This Active Learning Module has been approved by the RACGP Q and A Program.
Total Points: 40 Points (Category 1)
Aim: To provide three cardinal training outcomes related to the management of acne: Mood Disorders and Depression, Contraception and Disease Management.
The CPSA has joined with three education providers to ensure delivery of an outstanding, acne specific, disease management program. You must be a registered medical practitioner to complete this course.
Depression and Mood Disorders
Comprehensive course pre-reading will be downloadable from the CPSA website, and in addition on Sunday the 12th face to face teaching will complete this segment of the course.
NSW Family Planning
NSW Family Planning will provide an intensive one day course concerning contraceptive choices. This will include a short MCQ to complete this part of the training.
Department of Dermatology, Cardiff University
Cardiff University will provide training concerning the patho-physiology and treatment of acne. The certificate course will be online delivery for one month’s duration. It will include case studies, peer interactive sessions and a short MCQ to complete the certificate.
A CPSA certificate of attendance will be forwarded to successful applicants once all three parts of the course are completed.
